KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) invites applications for full-time, tenure- track or tenured faculty positions in all the departments, details as listed below, in the College of Engineering, and the College of Information Science & Technology.
General Information
* KAIST is a prestigious and internationally recognized research-oriented university focusing on science and technology established based on special government act in 1971. KAIST envisions to be one of the world-leading universities in science and technology devoting to solve problems for the world: Energy, Environment, Water, and Sustainability(EEWS).
* Salary for tenure-track or tenured faculty is commensurate with qualifications and experience with starting fund available.
* Normal loads are teaching two to three courses per year (6~9 credit hours/year), supervising graduate
students, and carrying out externally funded research programs.
* Financial support for all graduate students, including tuition and stipend, are provided in part by the university and the government.
* New tenure-track or tenured faculty members are jointly appointed by one of the KAIST Institutes, the interdisciplinary research organizations at KAIST.
* Internal grants are available to promote creative research projects.

Requirements
* Candidates must either hold or about to earn a PhD degree in relevant disciplines, with an excellent research background and publication record.
* Strong commitment to teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, supervising graduate students, and actively developing sponsored research programs.
* Abilities and willingness to pursue multidisciplinary studies as opportunity allows.
