Dear KAIST Graduates,
We sincerely congratulate you on your graduation again and wish you always healthy in the great heat and COVID-19.
Since mid-August, the COVID-19 has been showing a rapid re-proliferation trend, and from August 23(Sun), all regions have been upgraded to the second stage of social distancing. Therefore, we would like to inform you that the commencement ceremony will be held in three different buildings(Auditorium, Terman hall in Creative Learning Building, Geun-mo Conference Hall in Academic Cultural Complex) at the same time by dividing the graduates into 20~25 people who had been selected by random draw. The building is divided, but we plan to use Zoom and YouTube broadcasts together in a ‘virtual space’. We would like to ask of enjoying the on-line commencement ceremony together and celebrating each other even though we are separated here and there.
We would like to ask for your understanding as this is a measure to ensure the safety of all and respond to governmental quarantine protocol and efforts.
As soon as the COVID-19 subsides in a later date, we will surely make the best of our efforts to leave precious memories with your loved ones and colleagues by operating photo zone. We ask for your understanding again.
