KAIST Robot Follows Verbal Commands, Checks Own Work, Wins 1st-2nd Internationally Professor Hyun Myung of the Urban Robotics Lab took first place in an international challenge at ECCV 2026, a leading computer vision conference, and second place in a challenge at RSS 2026, a leading robotics conference.

KAIST-KIOM Develop Wearable Microneedle Electroceutical for Personalized Pain Care Professor Jae-Woong Jeong developed a wearable electroceutical combining a wireless microneedle patch with IoT-based remote control, allowing pain to be modulated through electrical stimulation and controlled via smartphone.

KAIST Develops Microbially Produced Adhesive from Glucose Instead of Petroleum KAIST researchers led by Professor Sang Yup Lee engineered E. coli to produce a new aromatic PHA polymer from glucose, a bio-based alternative to petroleum-derived hot-melt adhesives used in packaging and electronics.
